Description

Essential Responsibilities

* Review current configuration in Service PDM (Product Data Management)
* Identify correct configuration based on:
1. Completed FSR’s (Field Service Report) and FSI’s (Field Service Instruction)
2. Engine Book
3. Parts Editor data base
4. Reconditioning data base
* Create PDM orders
* Create Production Orders
* Revise, check in and submit production order for hand over
* Read technical drawings and assembly drawings
* Revise instances in As maintained structure
* Extract configuration data from APC-PLM (Alstom Power Component - Life Cycle Management) for IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog) implementation
* Implement parts categorization in IPC based on recommended parts lists
* Support group activities with IPC implementations and changes

Qualifications

Education

* A minimum of a BS in Mechanical Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Experience in Power Generation or Parts environment higly desirable
* Data review/data entry
* Good reading and writing skills
* Excellent organization skills required
* Experience with technical drawings/documents
* High proficiency with using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Graphic Databases and Lotus Notes is required.
* Ability to review and enter data in a concise and efficient manner
* Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment meeting tight schedules and deadlines
* Self-starter coupled with the ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
* Ability to pass a pre-hire background check, physical and drug screening
* Ability to work in the US without any further action from an employer
