Description
Position Description:
* Partners with project managers in reporting all aspects of projects which include; delivery, quality and cost.
* Proactively raises concerns about cost issues on projects early so that mitigation efforts can minimize any financial impacts.
* Performs accurate recognition of sales, cost of sales and margins in line with company policy and GAAP
* Analyzes and ensures that all information reported is reliable, coherent and understandable for reporting consideration.
* Collects information for consolidation purposes.
* Develops process and procedures relating to the financial reporting and/or project management process.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Finance or related discipline
* Seven years experience in financial reporting, consolidations, or project controlling
* Three years experience in project risk analysis
* Ability to communicate clearly with project management and site management.
* Good analytical skills
* Ability to develop processes and procedures and process mapping.
* Driven, goal oriented, and focused
* SAP Project Systems and/or FICO experience a plus
* Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: frequent sitting, standing, and walking; frequent computer use; frequent telephone use; some lifting or moving up to 25 lbs.; ability to travel as needed (less than 10% travel)
